For the past few years, I’ve had a difficult time staying in just one place. Consider me a bit of a ‘tumbleweed’ for now.
Small town South Dakota is my stomping ground. I’ve spent spurts in Japan, Mexico, Minneapolis and also in Phoenix as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Now I’ve matriculated at the University of Denver in pursuit of a Masters in Media Film & Journalism.
I started this blog to keep my friends and family up-to-date with my life and to continue learning about the ever-expanding universe of social media. I write about my day, life as an entry-level PR professional, my experience with social media, and my reactions to current events. Overall, this blog is a place to share my thoughts, opinions and constantly-changing life story.
Even though I strive to live a life of peace, empathy and sensitivity, not everyone may agree with my views. So I’d like to note that this blog in no way reflects the opinions, beliefs, practices, or history of any organizations in which I’m currently or have previously been involved.
Anyway, if you don’t already know me, welcome to a little slice of my life.
